The SunFest Fireworks are a much-loved highlight of the festival weekend, bringing the community together for an unforgettable evening under the stars.

Held on Saturday night as part of SunFest Under the Stars, the fireworks are set against the backdrop of live entertainment on the Village Green, creating a magical and family-friendly atmosphere. This is an alcohol-free event, designed for all ages to enjoy safely.

Best Firework Viewing
For the best fireworks experience, we encourage spectators to stay on the Village Green, directly in front of the stage - the prime viewing area for the SunFest Fireworks.
This central location offers clear sightlines to the display while keeping you close to the festival atmosphere, live entertainment and a wide range of food and dessert options available throughout the evening.
To make the most of your night, we recommend:

Arriving early and settling in on the Village Green in front of the stage

Enjoying dinner, desserts and refreshments from nearby food vendors

Remaining behind all designated safety barriers

Being mindful of others and keeping walkways clear

Pets, Weather & Fireworks
SunFest is a pet-friendly event during the day, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to attend with their owners earlier in the festival. We ask all pet owners to be mindful of crowds, noise levels and weather conditions, and to ensure pets have access to water and shade.
Fireworks may be distressing for animals. For the comfort and safety of pets, we strongly recommend leaving pets at home on Saturday evening and/or ensuring they are safely secured and comfortable during the fireworks display.
If you are attending the festival earlier in the day with a pet, please plan ahead and be mindful of increasing noise levels as the evening approaches.

Please note that fireworks are weather dependent. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, any changes, delays or updates to the fireworks display will be communicated via: SunFest Social Media Channels.

Fireworks Notification
RE: Information About Sunbury Community Festival
A 5 to 10-minute fireworks display will begin at about 9pm on Saturday Evening. Some pets may be affected by the noise. Please ensure that pets are kept in a secure area and are wearing identification. It is recommended that they be secured for a period before, during and after the fireworks. For further
